Going postal
Filed in BlogYesterday we went back to the Bay Area to fetch our mail. There was a lot. I forgot to take a picture, so to give a sense of scale, imagine an entire trash bag full of paper, and you have roughly the right idea.
So, today’s task was to log what mail there was, make a spreadsheet, and start the long, laborious process of changing our address. Giggle of the day: I was unable to change my magazine subscription because the office is closed due to “inclement weather.”
I guess it’s snowing in Reno. ;)

On the first move I made with Ian our mail got stuck in a forwarding blackhole. The old address forwarded to the new address but somehow a second forward got logged and sent the mail right back to the old address.

Oooops.
We were told that we could forward it on from the p.o. box to here, but I kinda want to keep the Sunnyvale p.o. box. That’s one of the problems with printing an address in one’s book. ;)
