Fun with water spigots
Filed in Blog, Daily Image, Equipment
This rubber device is an adapter between the RV and a water spigot. It operates in much the same way as one of those push-over-the-faucet shower fittings you can get. While we were at New Hogan, we used it for the first time to fill up our tanks.
We learned the following:
- Someone must be holding it on at all times
- Whoever is holding it will get cold and damp
- Above a certain level, it will either emit narrow streams of water, or shoot off entirely
- It takes a long time
- But, eventually, it works.

hmmmm, based on all those positives listed i think i’d have to forego use of such a device and resort to carrying buckets of water on my head from the nearest well! ~:^)

LOL! That doesn’t help when you’re filling the tanks for your shower, toilet, etc. :)
