My first ever video blog (maybe)
Filed in Blog, VideosRemember how, back in January, we had a pretty severe storm (actually, with hurricane-force winds)?
Well, that night I put the digital camera on “video” and downloaded an enormous file to show you a bit of what it was like. The last couple of days we’ve installed software that makes the file more manageable, and I’ve been playing.
If this works, it’s my first ever video blog.

When I come to the page, I get a pop-up telling me I need some quicktime component to play it and sends me here: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/resources/components.html?os=OSX&ctype=696d6463&csubtype=464d5034 but it doesn’t tell me which one. So, no, it doesn’t work for me.
Can’t download it apparently without Quicktime Pro on my end.

Hi Moxielady
Thanks for the feedback. I think I just haven’t found the right combination of tools yet…I’m using Linux so it’s not quite as straightforwards as it would otherwise be. But I will get there. One day.
