A Saturday without wine

Filed in Blog

When I went down to the office, it was a lovely springlike day, warm, almost t-shirt weather. I was happy to receive a note from the post office saying that I had gotten one of their post office boxes; I also learned that there was to be a wine tasting at the clubhouse later that morning.

I planned to go, but first I had to finish up a program, then Don got embroiled in fixing our toilet (it won’t flush). He needed my help, which involved my standing in the bath and depressing the pedal when required. By the time he realized it would not work without additional parts, I had already missed the event, but that was no biggie. While I was standing in the shower I remembered that the shower curtain had started to stink–it got moldy–and so I doused it liberally in Simple Green and scrubbed.

I just had a shower, and it no longer smells as if somebody projectile vomited in there. This is a Good Thing.
