Things in RVs

Filed in Blog

On my (rather neglected) motorcycle blog I have a recurring thing called “Things on Bikes” which highlights the interesting variety of things I and others carry on motorcycles. I’m starting to think I ought to have a “things in RVs” section as well. Today we figured out how to get 12′ long 2×4s into our rig. Want to know how? First, we had to bring down one leg of the awning. Then, we had to prop it up with an 8′ 2×4 (yes, we had some of those as well). Loosening the awning leg allowed the door to swing open just wide enough to make this possible.

And then I had to pass the 12′ pieces of wood–a dozen of them–through the small gap in between the propped-up-leg and the door which was the only angle at which it could pass in.

And, yeah. We’re still building shelves. ;)
