There is no leak

Filed in Blog, Maintenance

While I got the taxes done, Don sorted out the leak.

You may recall that we thought it was fixed before, after he resealed the previous crack. Sadly, more water was coming out and we knew it was not so. He thought it might be the seal around the drain plug, but sadly, more water was coming out and we knew it was not so.

Eventually he figured out that there was a crack in the other side of the bath. It is only visible when weight is put there, shifting it downwards. He sealed this crack.

There is no more leak.

Our tub may be slowly disassembling itself, but at least it’s not leaking at this exact moment in time. ;)

In other news, there was another Leprechaun at the campground, a more recent model than our own. It looked pretty. It also left today. I get a little pang sometimes as I see the rigs coming and going on their various adventures.

I think, however, that our time is coming.
