Rhythms

It’s pretty wild out there, with gusts forecast for around 25mph. You can always tell when the wind’s up because the heater or the fan (as appropriate) has to fight the gusts, and comes in waves, each with its little pocket of changing air pressure so that you feel as though your ears are always on the verge of popping.

The little golf cart just swung by the laundry room to lock it, so it must be around eight. One gets used to the routines after a while. You know that if the trash collector is here it’s either Monday or Thursday, and if you hear a golf cart in the evening it’s going-home time for the office staff.

This weekend there was a row of pretty high end, new class A’s along the perimeter, part of a group no doubt. All the weekenders will be gone now, safe from the rocking of the wind that makes living in an RV feel, just a little, like living on a boat. Sometimes, we are among the smallest rigs here.

I finally finished working the many photographs from our last excursion, so I should be able to start posting those soon. :)
