RSS Ah, here comes the rain again
Filed in BlogAfter almost a two-week break during which the temperatures reached an unlikely 60-plus degrees (I still can’t reconcile “February” with “t-shirt weather”)…it’s raining again. Tonight we rode downtown to get some hardware that Don thinks will stop the sheets from riding up…and got drenched. If we’d encountered the rain I can hear now, though we’d have gotten drencheder still. ;)
I don’t mind the rain…so long as there’s a bit of a break in between storms. It’s when it never stops that I start to feel as though I’m going insane. A few days on, a few days off–that’s a pretty good pattern. It encourages efficiency and good usage of time. For example, this morning I ran out, did the final mail forwarding orders, shopped and visited the library, reaching home just as the first drops began to fall. Rain is the great anti-procrastinator: staying dry is a great motivator. ;)
But it’s going to be a loud night tonight.
