No toilette
Filed in MaintenanceFor an interesting period of time today we had no toilet, because Don detached the entire thing. The flush stopped working some time ago and we’ve been making do with a cut-off plastic bottle. It’s not a biggie, but since I went to get the valves we needed he thought he’d give it a shot.
It was interesting, and a little disconcerting, to see the hole in the floor. And, since I needed to make use of that hole in the floor, I tried the shared restrooms at the campground here. They were very nice and clean.
To prepare, he also had to haul things off the second bed/secondary storage unit. The stuff we have found under there, left by the previous owner, should probably form the basis of a Thursday Thirteen. Felt! Cat vitamins! Go figure.
After the toilet was reassembled it worked for Don’s test, and then broke. Again.
But the good news is that the shower head, which also broke off, has now been fixed with epoxy and a straw.
