Our generator

While we were away, our generator was giving us trouble. It was running rich and blowing our soot, or really lgging, actually physically bouncing about in its container in a violent and alarming way. Eventually Don got it tuned, and now it is much gentler, though it’s still not entirely happy and is still very, very loud.
One day we will buy a quiet generator, but not until this one shows signs of entirely dying. It could use a tune-up, just like an ordinary engine.
