Going to Woodson Bridge

Filed in Blog, Road Trips

Just a little photo essay today. We couldn’t connect to the internet at Flying J, where we arrived rather late, so we just pretty much went to bed. Then we spent until the early afternoon at a neighboring truck stop, using their internet instead. (We did make sure to buy something from Flying J–it’s only polite and in keeping with the honor code.)

Woodson Bridge is just a few short miles away from the Flying J. Oh, but so pretty!

En route to Woodson Bridge

There are real snowy mountains in the distance.

And big puffy clouds. The air and the vibe is so different here. There is absolutely none of that city jangling.

Bliss.

I will note, for the record, that the mountain in this shot is probably Lassen. :) (It’s still hard to see, though.)
