We were, to all intents and purposes DONE. We had a freezer to move, a bike to pick up, and some dust and styrofoam peanuts to sweep up.

Then we spent the night at our little rural campground. And it got windy. And moments before I was due to get out of bed this morning, having been windy ALL NIGHT, the FRIGGING TRIPOD BLEW OVER.

Our satellite dish is broken.

I am so sick of this crap. First Don hurts himself and has to have stitches, and we’re still waiting to see what they contrive to charge us for that (we’re taking bets at somewhere between $1000 and $1500). Then the exhaust manifold breaks for the generator, meaning we can’t run the generator, meaning that internet is restricted to what we can eke out of the battery, meaning I’m now almost hopelessly backlogged on work. Then the freaking toilet breaks. The toilet, for crying out loud! And that’s another $200 and two full days lost.

And now this, just as we’re about to LEAVE! So now we’re delayed even further trying to find another one–another $100-$150! All this on top of the hundreds of dollars we’ve spent on gasoline, boxes and lumber, on a road trip that has sucked from beginning to end.

And all this to save $50 a month on the storage shed consolidation????

I am BEYOND pissed off!
