Easy-peasy curry redux
Filed in Blog, FoodI just made the best batch of easy-peasy curry I’ve ever done.
The modifications I made were as follows:
I added half a teaspoon of ginger
I added two bunches of green onions (spring onions for those of you in the UK)
I added one small green bell pepper
I used maybe half to three quarters of a pound of ground beef. I’m starting to think that this recipe is better with ground beef (or turkey, as we’re increasingly using) rather than chunks.
I turned the heat off after half an hour instead of forty minutes.
Wow, it made a huge difference. The veggies were al dente; the flavors all mingled wonderfully for a really tasty curry. I’m pretty sure it woudn’t have mattered too much if I’d left out the meat, either.
Just another day’s adventures in Harvey’s kitchen. ;)
