It’s not quite freezing outside, but it’s only a few degrees above now and will probably drop below freezing. This is a significantly different climate than the moderate one I was used to in the South Bay. Our breath was steaming and the cold is sharp enough to make my toes hurt. We discarded all thoughts of a midnight ride. They have actual frost here. ;)

I like this change. It’s a real winter feeling, something I like (in small doses). It seems very appropriate for December. Kind of like the UK, only without the driving rain and snow. I’d rather be too cold than too hot, any day. Looks like, right now, I’m about to get my wish. ;)

    Right now I’m in Lodi, California. The closest big cities that you may have heard of are Stockton, and then Sacramento. It’s in the California Delta. We’re parked here long-term, and will make short trips out while we take care of some business.
