Better living through optimism
Filed in BlogHere’s the rest of the day, which was in its way exciting, too.
We ran errands. These included stopping at Panera for a very nice cup of soup and sandwich. If there was ever a day that needed to be brightened up, it’s was today. ;)
Amusingly, the little buzzer that was used to tell me my order was ready was number 13, which you might’ve noticed I rather like. ;) And the price of the treat was $7.77. Perhaps we should have driven out to the casino in Jackson, instead. ;)
So then we headed off to the storage shed, where we were able to disassemble the near-side platform in just a few moves, and remove another piece of furniture and a couple more boxes. This means that we are probably now within two days of being able to get everything out, which means that early next week we should be on the road back home.
Yay!

I’ll miss you, but I sure bet it will feel good to see the meadow, the labrynth … and re-introduce yourselves to the wildlife/critters.
