So here’s what I did in the morning. First I did laundry. Then we rolled out of there about 1 ready to get propane. Someone drove past us in a golf cart, got into a car and drove off. I had a bad feeling about that. Yup: That was the propane guy, and he’d just gone to lunch.

Sigh!

So we trundled off to find a recycling place, which we did, and Don put the generator back together in a back lot, because that’s what he does for fun, and I twiddled my thumbs until it was time to go back and fill up with propane. This is the view we had in the back lot.

We were running on fumes but did learn this: When the gauge reads zero, we still have a couple of day’s propane left.
