RSS Across the street

Across the street is another truck stop/travel plaza. They seem to cluster, which is weird. You’d think they’d stake out different locations and get 100% of the location’s traffic instead of fighting. But hey…this is a capitalist economy based on puffing out feathers and claiming to be the best.
Either way, we ended up in their parking lot on Friday morning to early afternoon. We were able to connect to their internet, you see. We paid for an hour, so had to be efficient. ($1.99 for an hour, $5 for a day, but we didn’t need more than an hour.) You can read some of the posts I uploaded over at Raven’s Roads if you want.
Don also wanted to grind down the bumper hatch. The little door that keeps our sewer hose in popped open at least once in transit, so there we were with the generator running and a power grinder. ;)
