About
Welcome to Raven’s RV.
This is a site about two rank newbie RVers who became full-time by default when Corporate America decided to change their mobile home park into townhomes. Unlike many RVers, we planned meticulously for this lifestyle by living in motel rooms for two weeks with up to four cats while we looked for our rig.
You’ll find anecdotes from our experience, how-to articles, plus recipes, reviews of towns, campgrounds and books, and general RV articles and snippets.
Our RV is currently docked at a private RV pad in Trinity County, northern California.

Never mind me, here’s the rig
We have a 1990 Coachmen Leprechaun (26′ Class C) called Harvey. It was bought as much on its vibe as on its roadworthiness. Luckily it has proven to be quite roadworthy, though the plumbing left a lot to be desired. ;)
Oh, you mean you really wanted to know about me?
My writer’s name is Linda Raven Moore and my real-world name is Linda Gentile. I am an author, freelance writer, blogger, petter of cats, motorcyclist, newbie RVer and spouse. In my spare time, I sleep. My husband is Don. We have two cats, Gracie and Silver. (JR passed away in July 2008. The other one, Speedy, was an abandoned cat that we rescued from the future building site where our home used to be and we found her a loving home.)
Further reading
This is one of the “raven” family of blogs. This blog is best viewed in conjunction with Raven’s Roads, where I actually write up trips and such.
However, if you want an easy way to view all four of my blogs at once, try Annwn.com which has been my home page since 1996. (Nope, really, 1996.)
As an RVer or traveler you might enjoy the site about historical markers, Markeroni, too.
Enjoy. We are!
