A word about luck
Filed in BlogI’m having a hard time believing that I haven’t shared this story yet, but it’s sitting in my unread posts file waiting to be sent, and I can’t find it anywhere in the archives. If I did share already, please forgive me. I’m getting old.
Bennett’s is beneath the freeway which passes it atop a steep embankment. About ten days after we bought the rig, someone presumably fell asleep at the wheel and drove right off the embankment. They crashed through the fence of the dealership, taking out two trailers and an RV (but everyone in the car survived).
Where it had been parked was where ours would have been parked, if we hadn’t already bought it and removed it.
Apparently, there was only a limited time offer from the universe on the purchase of this RV.
