A shiver down my spine
Filed in BlogI can hear coyotes singing to one another, not far away. It’s really very neat, and puts a shiver down my spine. :)
This campground has proven to be a good little oasis. Given how close it is to the freeway, it’s remarkably quiet and peaceful with a very nice vibe.
After rushing around for the last week, I am reorganizing my work space, dealing with “pending” and tossing trash. I’ve also been getting to know Redding through the internet and tomorrow we will visit Target, the bank, a supermarket, an auto supply store, and a bookstore. ;)
After that, we will drive home. :)

So, assuming you’re in or near Redding, are you at the one campsite that you get off the freeway and then you have to drive back a couple miles to get to it? It’s near the river?
If that’s the case, you’re maybe a half mile at most as the crow flies from the house I grew up in. (And maybe three-quarters to the one we moved to when I was a sophomore in high school.)
Good luck with the trip to Target. These days, I try to avoid the whole Churn Creek/Dana/Hilltop area as much as possible, as the city fathers have decided, in their infinite wisdom, to create Retail Hell. Just my opinion. :)
